What is ESG?

ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance. They are non-financial factors helping identify companies that strive to make the world a better place. Investors are using those factors to enhance risk-adjusted returns, align investments with their values, and fulfill fiduciary duties.

Responsible investing (RI) continues to surge in Canada. According to the Canadian RI Trend Report, RI assets under management grew from $2.1T in 2017 to $2.9T in 2022, a 38% growth. Also, survey respondents expect moderate growth for the next two years.

Why Invest With Us

We integrate responsible investing in our strategies quantitatively. First, we incorporate ESG factors in our investment process using a top-down approach. This means we are applying our ranking systems on pre-assembled ESG universes. Second, we carefully monitor the stocks we own in real-time to track ESG-related topics and act if any controversy arises.
